2 Days As a PADI Open Water Diver you can explore the seas and oceans around the world by booking diving packs. But why limit your diving to 18 metres? Why not explore deeper, dive on sunken wrecks, take good underwater pictures as souvenirs, learn to help others or even escape the rat race and dive for a living! In order to improve you diving knowledge and skills - broaden your diving experience by choosing from a variety of advanced PADI diving courses.

Develop your diving skills and knowledge over 5 training dives. Learning to navigate underwater and dive deeper than 18 metres are 2 compulsory elements that build confidence and awareness. Then choose from a wide selection of activities for the remaining 3 dives. This internationally recognised qualification allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres and is a pre-requisite for the PADI Rescue Course.

PADI Rescue Diver Course

As a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver you have a good level of diving knowledge and experience, but now is the time to take it a step further. Develop your rescue skills to ensure you have the knowledge to help yourself and your buddy! In order to improve you diving knowledge and skills - broaden your diving experience by choosing from a variety of advanced diving courses.

Learn about dive accident prevention, self rescue, life saving techniques and emergency management through knowledge development, practical training and emergency scenarios. This great fun and rewarding course is essential for those who wish to assist other divers or become a Divemaster

Please note: The Padi Rescue Diver course is only available to divers holding a valid advanced diving qualification. PADI Advanced Open Water, BSAC Sports Diver, CMAS 2 Star Diver are all acceptable diving qualifications for entry to the PADI Rescue Diver Course. Please contact us for full details.

Why not explore deeper, dive at night, take good underwater pictures as souvenirs, learn to navigate and find the boat every time! In order to improve you diving knowledge and skills - broaden your diving experience by choosing from a variety of specialty diving courses or PADI Advanced Diver course.

We offer over 20 specialty courses at our centre. These 1 or 2 day courses enable you to learn in depth about a diving skill that interests you such as night, multi-level or boat diving. Learn underwater photography, peak performance buoyancy, navigation or play around on an underwater scooter! Increase your dive time by using Nitrox. By completing any 5 specialties and holding the PADI Rescue Diver qualification you can be awarded Master Scuba Diver rating.

PADI Master Scuba Diver

This is the highest qualification in the recreational scuba diving world, as a PADI Master Scuba Diver you will be respected as a knowledgeable diver with a broad range of experience. To become a PADI Master Scuba Diver you will need to be a qualified PADI Rescue Diver and also complete 5 PADI Specialty Courses. At European Diving Centre Fethiye you book a special pakage to take you from advanced diver straight through to PADI Master Scuba Diver and receive fantastic discounts too!

Speciality courses can be conducted with European Diving Centre Fethiye – subject to suitable course conditions and requirements being met.

What is involved in learning to dive?
Diving is an exciting sport that opens up a world of totally unique experiences. There are a choice of courses and experience programs to suit your pocket and timescale. All PADI courses involve elements of knowledge development followed by practical training in shallow water and experience of deeper water, all under the close supervision of your PADI instructor.

 

Do I need to be really fit?
No, anyone who has a reasonable level of fitness can dive. You should be able to swim 200 metres unaided and perform moderate exercise. There is a medical statement which you will be required to complete prior to diving. Please ask for a copy.

 

Where is the best place to learn to dive?
Learning to dive on holiday, in warm clear water, in the sunshine is most peoples preferred option. It allows you to devote all your attention to the course and see some fantastic marine life. This all explains to you why Fethiye/Turkey is ideal.

 

How do I know I am getting a good quality course?
European Diving Centre Fethiye is associated and accredited highest dive centre level by PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) an internationally recognised organisation that is renowned for diver training.

All instructors speak English and have been independently assessed by PADI.

All diving standards are frequently monitored by European Diving Centre to ensure all safety, quality and service standards are adhered to.

Children and Diving
Diving is an activity that can be shared by all the family.Children can try diving from 8 years old by participating in a Bubble maker session. Children over 10 years can join Discover Scuba Diving programs or learn to dive. They can achieve either Junior Scuba Diver or Junior Open Water certifications which allow them to dive with their parents or guardian to limited depths and at 15 can upgrade their certification to full adult status.
